Anac imposed restrictions on Argentine aerolins, prohibiting the opening of new bases and increasing flights at five airports in Brazil

The National Civil Aviation Agency, ANAC, published in the edition of the Federal Official Gazette last Wednesday (25), a decree that imposes administrative measures on Aerolíneas Argentinas.

The restriction affects operations at airports in Brasilia, Rio de Janeiro (Gig), Salvador, Curitiba and Florianópolis, where Aerolíneas Argentinas will be able to maintain only frequencies already authorized and existing bases. Thus, being prohibited, precautionary, from opening new operational bases in Brazil and expanding the number of flights.

According to Anac, the decision was motivated by nonconformities identified in inspections, which remained without correction by Aerolíneas Argentinas. The suspension of expansion is provisional and will be maintained until the irregularities are remedied.
