Because of the BRICS summit in Rio, some flights will be transferred from Santos Dumont to Galeão on July 6 and 7
Latam Airlines, Azul Linhas Aéreas and Gol Linhas Aéreas will transfer all of its operations from Santos Dumont Airport to Galeão International Airport in Rio de Janeiro on July 6 and 7.
The measure was taken due to operational restrictions determined by the authorities during the BRICS summit, which will be held in Rio de Janeiro. Part of the operations on days 5 and 8 will also be impacted. The measure meets security and logistics requirements related to the international event that will bring together representatives from countries such as Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa.
Passengers with rescheduled flights are being previously informed by the companies, who guide customers to monitor their communication channels-such as email, SMS and WhatsApp-and consult the status of their reserves by official platforms.
