Airports run by Motiva (former CCR Aeroportos) should receive 2.8 million passengers in July
Motiva, a concessionaire that manages 17 airports in Brazil, projects the movement of about 2.8 million passengers throughout July, a period marked by school holidays. The volume represents a growth of 3.7% over the same month of 2024.
According to the concessionaire, more than 13,000 landings and takeoffs are foreseen at the terminals under its management. The data were consolidated based on airline information and the recent history of movement.
Belo Horizonte leads flow; Curitiba and Goiânia stand out
Among the most movement terminals is Belo Horizonte International Airport, with approximately 1 million passengers. Then, Afonso Pena Airport, in Curitiba, should receive about 500,000 travelers.
Other airports with prominence are:
- Goiânia: More than 300 thousand passengers;
- Navigators: over 200 thousand;
- Foz do Iguaçu and São Luís: both with projection of more than 170 thousand travelers.
Reinforcement in operations for high season
According to Marcius Moreno, director of operations at Motiva airports, increased demand is typical of the holiday period. He states that the concessionaire has reinforced safety, cleaning and operations teams to meet the growth in passenger flow.
The guidance is that travelers arrive at least two hours in advance for domestic flights and three hours for international. Attention is also recommended to the required documentation, especially on minors.
