Bombardier announces sale of 50 executive jets and service agreement valued at $ 1.7 billion
Bombardier announced last Monday (30), a firm request for fifty aircraft from Challenger and Global families, along with an unprecedented agreement of services, in a transaction valued at $ 1.7 billion.
Deliveries are scheduled to start in 2027. The customer, who preferred to maintain anonymity until the launch of his market operation, also secured purchase options for more seventy aircraft. If all purchase options are exercised, the total amount of contracts – including aircraft and services – could exceed US $ 4 billion (R $ 21.7 billion).
The request also includes the adhesion of the new client, for the first time, to the Bombardier maintenance services portfolio, considered one of the most advanced in the executive aviation industry. The partnership aims to offer a continuous support model, covering from delivery to full aircraft operation cycle.
“This significant request reinforces the competitive advantage that Bombardier offers through its complete portfolio of products and services throughout the aircraft life cycle”Said Éric Martel, president and CEO of Bombardier.
Challenger and global jet families are recognized for reliability, performance and comfort, as well as incorporating technologies aimed at operational excellence. The Canadian manufacturer also maintains a global support network, which, according to the company, ensures a continuous and efficient experience for operators.
