Boston University has broken their silence on Alex Cooper‘s disturbing allegations.
In case you didn’t hear, the Call Her Daddy podcast host released a Hulu documentary this week titled Call Her Alex. In the first episode of the two-part series, she dropped a bomb when she claimed she was sexually harassed throughout her years at college by her former soccer coach, Nancy Feldman. In the episode, she expressed how scared she was to bring this to light, while highlighting the heartbreaking details.
Alex went to BU on a D1 soccer scholarship, but sadly her athletic dreams turned into a total nightmare at the hands of her coach. She said in the doc:
“It was this psychotic game of, ‘You wanna play? Tell me about your sex life, I have to drive you to your night class, get in the car with me alone.’ I started trying to spend as little time as possible with her, taking different routes to practice where I knew I wouldn’t run into her. During meetings, I would try to sit as far away from her as possible, literally anything to not be alone with this woman.”
The Unwell Hydration founder even said at one point it got so bad, she’d be benched from games if she tried to avoid her alleged harasser. So sad.
Since the Disney+ series premiered, the influencer has been even more outspoken about her experiences. On Tuesday, she said in a YouTube video titled “My College Soccer Trauma” that she didn’t even originally plan to tell her story, but after finding out other women shared the same experiences she wanted to come forward. In fact, she alleges that women were still facing the same harassment and abuse THIS YEAR at the University despite her former coach retiring in 2022. You can see that video (below):
Ugh…
This makes BU’s response all the more disappointing, too… In a statement obtained by People on Thursday, the college said:
“Boston University has a zero-tolerance policy for sexual harassment. We have a robust system of resources, support and staff dedicated to student wellbeing and a thorough reporting process through our Equal Opportunity Office. We encourage members of our community to report any concerns, and we remain committed to fostering a safe and secure campus environment for all.”
A pretty run-of-the-mill, nothing response. Especially considering this is STILL allegedly happening!

The 30-year-old podcaster isn’t letting it go that easily. In an Instagram post from Thursday, she further detailed how this harassment has “defined my life for a decade, and impacted [Nancy Feldman] 0%”:
“I was sexually harassed for three years by Nancy Feldman, my college soccer coach at Boston University. Nancy Feldman was someone I trusted. Someone I believed in. Someone who was supposed to help me grow. Someone who was supposed to protect me. But instead she made my life a living hell and abused her power over me. She stripped me of my identity and took away what I had worked my entire life for because she didn’t control herself.”
She went on to say that despite her complaints, nothing was done to handle the situation:
“I reported the abuse to the athletic director, Drew Marrochello, and I was turned away and ignored. There was no accountability, no investigation, and no justice. So when I found out the harassment and abuse was STILL happening on that campus today – 10 years later by Nancy Feldman’s successor and my former assistant coach, I knew I needed to share my story. This is no longer just about me, this is systemic.”
Alex is ready to fight for justice, too. In her scathing post, she added:
“When this initially happened to me I felt like I had no voice. But that is no longer the case. Now I’m coming for all of you who abused your power over innocent young individuals. Nancy Feldman, you will no longer be able to hide in the shadows and get away unscathed from the calculated pain you caused me and so many other women. To anyone who has also experienced what I have and been ignored… I am with you and this is DAY ONE of changing the system, flipping the script and finding justice.”
She wrapped up by saying:
“We will no longer be silenced. I’m ready to bulldoze through every f**king door for all of you out there. Because when I was 18 years old, dismissed and ignored by Boston University, I prayed and wished someone with a voice would have held my hand and helped me through the darkest time in my life. Daddy Gang, I got you. Stay tuned “
