Event will bring together industry leaders between 19 and 21 August in Mato Grosso, focusing on innovation, sustainability and strengthening of the Aeroagrícola chain

The Agricultural Aviation Congress (AVAG Congress) 2025 will be launched in July and will take place between 19 and 21 August, at the Santo Antônio de Leverger Executive Airport, Cuiabá Metropolitan Region (MT). Recognized as one of the largest events in the sector in the world, Congress takes place in the state with the largest aerogeric fleet in the country and projects to move more than $ 250 million in business.

Brazil has the second largest agricultural aviation in the world and, by 2024, the sector moved more than $ 8 billion. According to the study Economic and Aeroagrician Sustainability Perspectives 2025, released in June by the National Union of Agricultural Aviation Companies (Sindag), the expectation is for a 25% growth in the next three years.

With the theme “A look at the future”, this year’s edition will feature a diverse program. Exhibitions of technologies and equipment, aircraft demonstrations, institutional meetings and activities aimed at strengthening the aerogeric chain are foreseen.

The panels will address innovation, operational safety, sustainability and sector regulation. The works selected by the Scientific Congress will also be presented.

One of the highlights will be the motivational lecture “About Living”, with former player Neto Zampier, survivor of the plane crash with the Chapecoense team in 2016. The presentation relates the personal experience of the player and the challenges faced by professionals in the aircraft sector.

Among the news of this edition is the 1st Auction of Agricultural Aviation, whose income will be reversed to the Brazilian Agricultural Aviation Defense Fund, intended for technical, political and legal actions in defense of the sector. The event will also promote meetings between business and political leaders, focusing on the strategic role of agricultural aviation for agribusiness and global food security.

In 2024, Congress Avag received 4,851 visitors, had 224 exhibiting brands and moved more than $ 250 million in business. The expectation is to exceed these numbers this year.
