Copa Airlines has introduced a new non-stop route connecting San Diego, California, with Panama City, Panama.
This exciting addition strengthens Copa’s U.S. network, particularly on the West Coast, while enhancing travel options between Latin America and Southern California through its renowned Hub of the Americas® in Panama City.
A Milestone for West Coast Connectivity
The launch of the San Diego route marks a significant step for Copa Airlines. It expands the airline’s footprint in the U.S. and reinforces its role as a vital link between Latin America and key North American regions.

Flight Details and Schedule
The non-stop flight, designated CM847, operates four times weekly—on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.
It departs Tocumen International Airport in Panama City at 1:16 p.m. local time. The flight then arrives at San Diego International Airport at 5:54 p.m. local time.
The return flight, CM850, leaves San Diego at 9:06 p.m. local time on the same days. It lands in Panama City at 5:20 a.m. the following day. This schedule ensures convenient travel options for passengers.
