Emirates is to introduce Premium Economy class on refurbished B777s on flights to and from Kolkata, effective 18 July 2025.
Passengers upgrading from economy class can enjoy wider cream leather seats, increased legroom, adjustable headrests, deeper seat recline and raised cushioned leg rests. The IFE screens are also larger and meals are served on china crockery.

Mohammad Sarhan, Emirates’ VP – India and Nepal said: “We are delighted to introduce our highly-acclaimed Premium Economy experience to Kolkata, marking another significant milestone in our commitment to the Indian market.”
Emirates has been rolling out refitted B777s across it’s network over the last year. .
