In response to high demand, Emirates will expand flights to Rio de Janeiro and Buenos Aires

Emirates announced on Tuesday (1), new extensions in its air network worldwide, with flight reinforcement and replacement of aircraft on strategic routes, starting on October 26.

The company will fly at a daily frequency between Dubai, Rio de Janeiro (Gig) and Buenos Aires (Eze) with the recently retrophited Boeing 777-300erer, which will also serve routes to Xangai, China, and Milan, Italy.

Changes respond to the growth of global air travel and are part of Emirates’ fleet modernization program, which began in November 2022. Since then, sixty 777-300ER have undergone complete reforms-a process that occurs every three weeks. Updated models offer improvements in all classes, especially the Premium Economy cabin, which includes 24 seats.

According to Stephane Perard, Emirates regional director for Latin America, Brazil is a strategic market for the company. “The expansion of our operations in Rio de Janeiro reflects our long -term commitment to the country. We are excited to offer our passengers more options by planning their travels, with state -of -the -art products and services, as well as greater global connectivity“, These.

The world’s largest passenger plane, the Airbus A380-800, is also included in the retrofit process and some units will reinforce the offer of seats in Singapore and Zurich, Switzerland, also in late October.
