Aerospace engine aftermarket services firm, StandardAero, has been selected by Firefly to provide comprehensive maintenance services for its Pratt & Whitney Canada (P&WC) PW127M engines.
The multi-year agreement will support the Malaysian regional and a low-cost carrier’s ATR 72-500 fleet, ensuring continued reliability and performance.
StandardAero will deliver support from its centres of excellence in Summerside, Prince Edward Island, Canada, and Gonesse, France.
With over four decades of experience supporting the PW100 engine family, StandardAero also operates six strategically located service centres across North America, South America, Africa and Australasia.
Captain Hamdan Che Ismail, chief operating officer of Firefly, a subsidiary of Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG), said: “Our collaboration with StandardAero under the pay-per-hour programme marks an important step in strengthening the performance and sustainability of our ATR 72-500 operations.
