Latam and blue start seasonal flights between Brazil and Argentina focused on the winter season

Companies Latam Airlines and Azul Linhas Aéreas debuted on Monday (23), new international routes between Brazil and Argentina, reinforcing the air network between the two countries during the high winter season.

Latam began to operate Rio de Janeiro (Gig) – Buenos Aires (Eze) and São Paulo (GRU) – Bariloche (BRC) flights, while Azul started operations between Campinas (VCP) and BRC.

LATAM GRU-BRC route is seasonal and will feature daily flights until 31 August. The inaugural flight had a tape cutting ceremony at Guarulhos airport, with the presence of representatives of the Airline and the GRU Airport concessionaire. According to Latam, the first flights of the two routes recorded an average occupancy rate of 90%.

Already Azul programmed 84 flights between VCP and Bariloche, with the Airbus A320, with capacity for 174 seats. Operations take place on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, departing from Brazil at 10:10 am and arrival in Argentina at 11:50 am. Return flights take off at 3:50 pm and land at 7:50 pm.

According to the company, the new route seeks to meet the demand for travel during school holidays and expands Azul’s connectivity with the Argentine market. In 2023, the company registered a 90% occupation on seasonal flights to Bariloche.
