LATAM AIRLINES starts seasonal route between Congonhas Airport, in São Paulo, and Aracaju with two weekly flights until August 10

Latam Airlines began last Saturday (28), the operation of its new seasonal route between Congonhas airports, in São Paulo, and Aracaju, in Sergipe, created to meet the demand of the high season of July.

With an occupancy rate of 87% on the inaugural flight, the route will be maintained until August 10 with two weekly flights: Saturdays at 9am and on Sundays at 7am, starting from Paulistano Airport (CGH).

Flights are operated with aircraft from the Airbus A320 family, with capacity for up to 180 passengers. The initiative aims to reinforce the connectivity between the Southeast and the Northeast, facilitating access to the state of Sergipe during the school holidays.

The action was made possible through articulation of the Northeastern State Government with airlines. Marcos Franco, state secretary of tourism, said additional flights coincide with the period of Vila do Forró, on the edge of Atalaia, and should contribute to the increase in hotel occupation and movement of local commerce and services sectors.

In addition to Congonhas, Latam also offers a total of three daily flights between Guarulhos (GRU) and Aracaju (Aid) airport.
