LATAM projects 4.3 million passengers and expands domestic and international operations focused on Guarulhos

Latam Airlines announced on Monday (7) that in July will operate the largest air network in its history in Brazil, with over 25,000 flights scheduled for the period. The expansion reflects the increase in demand, the opening of new routes and the reinforcement of frequencies in strategic destinations. The expectation is to carry about 4.3 million passengers in the month.

There will be 101 direct routes for 55 domestic and 24 international destinations. In the first half of 2025, the company inaugurated 12 new routes, including releases, reopening and seasonal operations, resulting in a 12% increase in seat capacity compared to the same period of 2024.

Among the new regional connections are:

  • Rio Branco – Guardaulhos
  • Ribeirão Preto – Congonhas
  • Joinville – Congonhas
  • Pelotas – Guardaulhos

In tourism, stand out:

  • Guarulhos – Fernamo de Noronha
  • Recife – Noronha Fernando
  • Congonhas – Aracaju (Seasonal Route for the July Holidays).

More international flights and reinforcement at the Guarulhos Hub

In the international market, Latam expands operations with routes such as Fortaleza -Lisboa, Galeão -Buenos Aires/Ezeiza and Guarulhos – Bariloche, in addition to the resumes Porto Alegre – Lima and Porto Alegre – Santiago, after the reopening of Salgado Filho Airport.

Guarulhos airport, the company’s main hub in the country, will concentrate more than 6,700 flights in July, a growth of almost 12% over the same month of 2024. Currently, the terminal connects 49 national and 24 international destinations. In the first half of 2025, LATAM performed 34,800 flights and transported more than 6.2 million passengers at the airport, accounting for 49% of terminal operations by 2024.
