New Swiss A350-900 features exclusive design with 360 graphic elements inspired by Swiss culture and is part of the long-distance fleet renewal
Swiss International Air Lines performed on Tuesday (24) in Toulouse (France), its first Airbus A350-900 with the special painting “Wanderlust”, which displays graphic elements inspired by the culture and symbols of Switzerland.
The drawings – which include figures such as dragons, bears, marmotes, the character Helvetia, as well as references to Guilherme Tell and Freddy Mercury – were manually applied to 380 m² of the fuselage. Swiss states that the result represents a global landmark milestone.
The A350-900 is part of the long-distance fleet renewal program and is now in the final phase of Toulouse testing before being delivered to Swiss and starting business operations in the coming months.
