New air route and multimodal integration accelerate deliveries and strengthen e -commerce in the northern region
Total Express is expanding its presence in the Amazon with the creation of high performance logistics centers in Manaus and Belém, aimed at serving the e -commerce market. The initiative seeks to accelerate delivery times and meet the growing demand of the region with integrated infrastructure and technology.
In Manaus, proximity to the industrial hub and fiscal incentives in the zone boost the flow of goods. Since December 2023, the air route between São Paulo (GRU) and Manaus has reduced the average transport time from 14 to 3 days, increasing the volume of deliveries by five times.
In Bethlehem, the portal channel dredging, scheduled for November, will allow the mooring of larger ships and should generate savings of scale in cargo transportation. The logistics mesh combines road, water and air, ensuring the reach to isolated municipalities and adjusting solutions according to the urgency of deliveries.
Regional expansion and focus on technology
For the last mile, Total Express invests in local distribution centers, Pick-up & Drop-Off (Pudo) points and vehicles adapted to the region’s urban and riverside conditions. An artificial intelligence system optimizes real -time routes to maintain delivery times even in high demand periods, such as Black Friday.
The company also adopts sustainable practices, prioritizing less polluting modes and climate monitoring to reduce environmental impacts and logistics delays.
With local partnerships and new investments in storage and team training, Total Express expands its performance in the Amazon to meet regional specificities. The company also offers real -time dashboards and webinars for customers to track operations and plan more predictable stocks.
